To all past, present, and future major donors to WPFW: WPFW is pleased to announce the revamping, renaming, and relaunch of the WPFW major donor recognition program to now be known as the Jazz & Justice Circle.
All donors giving at least $1,000, at one time or as two or more pledges in one calendar year, will become Jazz & Justice Circle members for that and the following calendar year.
Jazz & Justice Circle members will receive the following benefits:
o An annual, personal, thank you letter from WPFW’s General Manager.
o A quarterly eNewletter about WPFW programs, programmers, staff, news, and other items of interest.
o Your name will be listed in the eNewsletters. Members can opt out if they wish to remain anonymous.
o Invitation to quarterly, “Meet the Programmer” Zoom meetings with two or more rotating programmers, including hosts of both music and public affairs programs. In the future, these may shift to in person or hybrid meetings.
o Invitation to exclusive Zoom meeting with the General Manager, Program Director, and Local Station Board Chair to hear first-hand about new developments at the station in an interactive format.
o Invitations to special events and concerts.
o WPFW swag!
Craig Williams, host of DJ of Morning Brew – Classic Jazz Edition (Thurs 5-8:00 a.m.), a longtime programmer and major donor, will serve as the initial Jazz & Justice Circle liaison. Craig will offer his assistance to this dedicated group of listeners and will ensure your benefits are applied to you.
